Serving Christ - continually

-Life for me lately has been tough. And there has been a LOT of changes. A lot of changes that I would prefer didn't have to happen.
-But through all the hard moments, God has shown his love and mercy to me in more ways than I can count.
-I am blessed beyond what I deserve.
-It's been really difficult to focus lately. On anything. But mainly studying for college. There's just some moments where I cannot think clearly. During those times I put my studying down, get up and go outside. There I talk with God. Listen to Him through His word. And yes, He speaks to me. The word of God is such a powerful, amazing, awesome thing! I'm continually awed and humbled at how it can impact your life when you take it to heart.
-Some of the main verses that have helped me through these past few weeks are in 1 Peter.
-1 Peter 1:6-7"In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed."
-1 Peter 3:12, "For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil."

-In hard times, let God speak to you. Open up your Bible. Pray. I promise you won't regret it.
