Christ is my all in all.

All I have in in Christ.
All I need is Christ.
Lately I've been humbled that I haven't been realizing that and taking it to heart and remembering that Christ is my all in all.

"My faith has found a resting place/Not in device nor creed/I trust in the ever-living one/And His wounds for me shall plead/Enough for me that Jesus saves/This ends my fear and doubt/A sinful soul I come to Him/And He will never cast me out"

I want my life to be a continuous change. A change to be loving Christ and leaning on Him more and more each day.

And to anyone reading this - I want you to keep me accountable to it. To point me towards Christ when I start to turn astray and lean on the things of this world.

I am so blessed to have friends and family both who are already doing this. I pray that I can also be that friend who can shine for Christ and be an encouragement to others.

Because Christ is my all in all.
Psalm 141:
"O LORD, I call to you; come quickly to me.
   Hear my voice when I call to you.
2 May my prayer be set before you like incense;
   may the lifting up of my hands be like the evening sacrifice.
 3 Set a guard over my mouth, O LORD;
   keep watch over the door of my lips.
4 Let not my heart be drawn to what is evil,
   to take part in wicked deeds
with men who are evildoers;
   let me not eat of their delicacies.
 5 Let a righteous man[a] strike me—it is a kindness;
   let him rebuke me—it is oil on my head.
   My head will not refuse it.
   Yet my prayer is ever against the deeds of evildoers;
 6 their rulers will be thrown down from the cliffs,
   and the wicked will learn that my words were well spoken.
7 They will say, “As one plows and breaks up the earth,
   so our bones have been scattered at the mouth of the grave.[b]
 8 But my eyes are fixed on you, O Sovereign LORD;
   in you I take refuge—do not give me over to death.
9 Keep me from the snares they have laid for me,
   from the traps set by evildoers.
10 Let the wicked fall into their own nets,
   while I pass by in safety"

Rejoice always

SUCH a powerful verse.
I'm working on going through and memorizing Philippians right now...and there is SO much in there! Each verse has something new to teach you.

Philippians 4:4-7, "Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus"

Fear Not

What are you fearing?
Proverbs 9:10, "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding."

Just Like That

Life.
That little four letter word that can have so much meaning.
Life is really a gift given to us from God.
A chance to except His amazing forgiveness in our lives.
A chance to live. Love. Breath.
And before we know it, it's gone.
Just like that.
The older I get - the faster life goes - and I'm still a teen!
Don't waste your life.
Live it to the fullest. Live like Christ would live. Making every moments count.
Tell your family you love them.
Help that person who needs to know of God's grace before it's too late.
Don't spend your life having fun, going to parties, doing things for you...live for CHRIST!
And don't put it off.
Because life is gone before you know it.
Just like that.

Philippians 1:27-28, "Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel, and not frightened in anything by your opponents. This is a clear sign to them of their destruction, but of your salvation, and that from God."
